EPC inspection

A date & time will be agreed for your HiP (EPC) inspection once payment has been received. 

Please ensure the following steps are undertaken prior to DEA inspection as they will be required for the EPC:

1)  Year of house build & together with dates of any extensions

2)  Any loft hatches opened & ladders drawn to allow the energy inspector to view the loft insulation, and roofing type

3)  Pets & children should be kept away from the inspector as some of the activities carried out may be hazardous

The DEA will need to undergo a thorough inspection of your home which will normally take between 30-40 mins. 

Upon completion of the site visit, the inspector will mark his findings on the Government's Landmark EPC database.  This will in turn produce an energy performance certificate which will compile results along with appropriate recommendations.  This normally takes 3 working days and will be sent to your address.
